Medical Optometry

Since 1991, Optometrists have had the right to be licensed to detect and diagnose eye disease, prescribe medications, evaluate and treat vision conditions, perform minor surgical procedures, and provide pre- and post-operative care. Not all Optometrists are licensed at this level. Those who are are called Medical Optometrists.

Dr. Davis is Board Certified, and has attained the highest optometric licensure available in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. She has years of experience diagnosing and treating eye disease, as well as measuring vision and fitting contact lenses.

Because an Optometrist can recognize critical issues like diabetes and high blood pressure while examining your eyes, having an eye exam can save your life as well as your vision.
